New Campaign Interlude Missions
Interlude missions now bridge the gap between missions in the campaign:
- Soviet: unlocks after completing Mission 03 The Way Forward. Once the interlude mission is finished, the campaign will directly proceed to Mission 04.
- Allied: unlocks after completing Mission 03 The Hunt Begins. Once the interlude mission is finished, the campaign will directly proceed to Mission 04.
Note: Interlude missions cannot be accessed directly from the client.
New T2 Buildings for Allied and Soviet
Both factions now have access to a new T2 building that shapes how your infantry fights:
Armory: Reduces the training cost of all combat infantry by 50%, and allows Assaulter and Guardian to be trained as Elite initially. It also unlocks the Cluster Mine tactic.
Operation Center: Reduces the training cost of all combat infantry by 50%, and allows Conscripts and RPG Troopers to be trained as Elite initially. It also unlocks the Cluster Mine tactic.
New Tactic: Cluster Mine
The Cluster Mine tactic uses a mine-laying plane to deploy mines anywhere on the battlefield. Any unit that triggers a mine will be damaged or even destroyed, effectively eliminating lightly armored ground units and slowing down heavily armored ones.
Note: Mines detonate indiscriminately, so use them with caution in battle.
New Skirmish Maps
Two new skirmish maps have been added:
- (4) Gem Top
- (8) Armistice Bastion
Tech Flak Tower
The Tech Flak Tower makes its first appearance on the skirmish map Armistice Bastion.
