After nearly a year of iteration, from early mission development to the final release rebuild, Bellum Aeternum v1.0.0 is now officially available.

Brand-New Campaign
The official release unlocks 6 missions per faction, for a total of 12 campaign missions, including epic storylines, high-quality maps, and rich mission mechanics.
Before jumping into the campaign, we strongly recommend checking the Lore first.
New Skirmish Mode
The campaign-exclusive Panjandrum Mk.7 now appears in a new skirmish mode.
New mode: Rampage. On the new map "Racing Forest", players can only use the Panjandrum Mk.7 to defeat all enemies with insane speed and wildly unreliable attacks.
There is no skill ceiling here, only luck and adrenaline.
Major Changes
1. Super Weapons Greatly Enhanced
Super weapons are optional and require tech progression before use. Their previous impact was underwhelming, so they have received major buffs in this version.
Nuclear Missile:
- Damage increased; one strike can destroy any single building.
- Blast damage now falls off from center to edge.
- Nuclear radiation duration increased.
Lightning Storm:
- Area of effect increased.
- Damage increased; central buildings can be destroyed very quickly.
- Duration increased, but strike frequency reduced.
2. Tech Tree Adjustments
Sabre Fighter: Due to mission timeline constraints and size considerations, the Dagger has been replaced by the Sabre. Changes include:
- Weapon changed from air-to-ground missiles to bombs.
- Maneuverability reduced.
- Voice lines replaced.
3. Performance Optimization
Beta v1.2 still had performance drops caused by visual enhancements. This release includes focused optimization across the game:
- Wreck fire duration shortened.
- Half transparency disabled for some smoke effects.
- Trail effects removed from some debris.
- Particle effects removed from the radiation tank.

1. Unit veterancy is easier to gain: destroy units worth 1.5x your unit value to level up.

- Replaced nuclear strike effect animation.
- Replaced Allied Battlefield Control Center model.

- Optimized missile trail-flame animation.
- Replaced rocket launcher trail-flame animation.
- Added flashing police lights to police cars.
- Replaced some fire animations.
- Reworked campfire visual effects.

Voice Adjustments:
- Replaced Katyusha voice lines.

Mechanics Adjustments:

- Nuclear reactors no longer trigger a nuclear blast on destruction; now they cause prolonged radiation leakage.
- Crate changes:
- Removed the map-wide HP recovery crate.
- Toxic gas crates can no longer damage NBC-protected vehicles.
- Fire truck water cannon behavior adjusted; now it can extinguish campfires.
- Optimized bombing behavior of the Stratosphere Fortress Bomber.
- Bullet impact points now scatter randomly.
AI Changes
AI now uses a wider variety of unit types in combat, including hidden units.

- Fixed firing coordinate errors for the Stealth Tank and IFV.

- First capture of a Tech Oil Derrick now grants 2000 credits.
- Special Forces C4 placement interval reduced to 1 second.
- Flak Track and Stealth Transport now have higher passenger survival chance.
- Main weapons of Armed Miner, Rhino Tank, Apocalypse Tank, Grizzly Tank, Battle Fortress, and Radiation Tank gain extra accuracy at elite rank.
- Secondary weapons of Machine Gun Bunker, Sentry Gun, Battle Fortress, and main weapon of Half-Track gain extra accuracy.
- Tech Oil Derrick income tick rate increased.
- Grizzly Tank main ammo changed to HVAP with faster projectile speed.
- Conscript and Assault Trooper primary projectile speed increased.
- Prism Tank HP increased (1000 -> 1300).
- Black Prince AVRE HP reduced (2200 -> 1500).
- Tesla Reactor power output reduced from 150 to 120.
